After three months of preparation, that included the creation of our multimedia studio, training of members and staff, and plenty of creative thinking, we offered our very first Internet Livestream. Inspired by the Jerry Lewis Telethons of yesteryear, \u201cLive from the Academy\u201d provided a glimpse into Academy life and the recovery process of our members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Broadcast featured the talents and abilities of Academy members. Under the guidance of Garrett Laue, Executive Director and Ian Churchill, Assistant Director, the one hour and fifteen minute livestream went off without any glitches. We also counted on the charisma of our emcee, Academy Ambassador Stewie Bitterman, and the heartfelt testimonies of Carla Giuffrida, Herika Martinez and Michael Sanacore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
