Sarasota Memorial Health Care (SMH) is a valued partner of the Academy at Glengary. Our involvement began at the initiative of SMH CEO, David Verinder, who supported the creation of the Academy in 2016. Our collaboration is based on shared values that include caring, compassion, excellence and teamwork. This past week, the Academy was invited by the SMH Diversity Council to present at a Continuing Educational training titled: \u201cCaring for Persons with Disability: What Don\u2019t we See? Patient & Clinician Perspectives.\u201d Academy member, Paul Hennekes (left), provided a brief testimonial of his experience and Community Liaison\/Program Coordinator, Jeffrey Jean (right), offered an overview of mental health services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
