With only one month to go before our third annual \u201cLive at the Academy\u201d Telethon, our multimedia team is in overtime. All told, there will be eight videos ranging from 90 seconds to 7 minutes long. The Multimedia Team, bottom-lined by staff member Dariel Paredes, has navigated dozens of scene changes, wacky costumes, props, lighting, and special effects to create funny, dynamic, and sometimes poignant glimpses into our community. Dozens of members have contributed their talents, on camera and off, to bring humor and insight to our telethon program. It has literally taken a village!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each of us has been humbled by the outcome. We often say that we are stronger together. Projects such as these are just one example of the sum being greater than the parts. As we worked together, we each brought something to the table, but we were all surprised by the end result. Before it even airs, it has already exceeded our expectations.
