The group of approximately 35 women meets regularly to discuss and further their mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership. Ashley Giasone, Chair of New Member Education, had previously taken a tour and asked if we could host one of their meetings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Academy enjoys partnering with area non-profit organizations and was pleased to offer the use of our facility. During their meeting, Academy Director William McKeever, member Herika Martinez, and staff Joanne Campbell, addressed the group and spoke about our program, mission and goals.
