He leads a team dedicated to providing effective and efficient service in partnership with the Sarasota community. Sheriff Knight has been an Academy Ambassador since our inception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sarasota County Sheriff\u2019s Office has been actively involved in Crisis Intervention Training, which equips law enforcement officers with the skills to identify signs of mental illness while interacting with the public.
