After nearly three years of planning, design and construction, the Academy at Bradenton opened its doors for the first time to members on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Our new state-of-the-art facility offers members the opportunity to pursue mental health recovery through the 8 Dimensions of Wellness. Over 50 founding members joined staff, volunteers, board of directors and donors in making the Academy at Bradenton a reality. We are excited to share our mission with you and hope that you can join us for our upcoming Grand Opening!

This exciting new project began with the purchase in 2021 of a historical building in the heart of downtown Bradenton. A three year remodeling effort culminated in March 2024 with the opening of our new Bradenton facility. This new endeavor has been made possible by support from the Bishop Park Foundation, Bank of America Foundation, Manatee Community Foundation Giving Circle, Wilson Wood Foundation, Steinwachs Family Foundation, Marcia's Hope Fund, Sunset Automotive Group, Truist Bank, Gettel Automotive, Manatee County Government and Central Florida Behavioral Health Network.
