Our young adults discover opportunities for education, friendship, and careers

Mental health challenges often begin in late adolescence and early adulthood (ages 18-29). We recognize the huge potential of young adults pursuing mental health recovery. Our members and families have shared how unsettling and isolating that time can be. At the Academy, we make a concerted effort to engage young adults early in the recovery process, and we are fortunate to have a vibrant group of young adult members. They help inspire us all with their enthusiasm, creativity, and skills. Our young adults recently put their creativity to use in telling their story through a stop-motion video.

Academy members and staff participated in a Clubhouse International training focused on young adult engagement to better prepare us to welcome young adults into our community.
