Information for Providers
Thank you for considering the Academy as a resource for your clients or patients. We work in partnership with community-based providers to support the rehabilitation needs of our members. Clinical and mental health providers such as medical doctors, psychiatrists, counselors, psychologists, or social workers can refer applicants to the Academy.
We are at our best when our members have their clinical providers in place. Our goal is to complement those essential services with hands-on recovery opportunities.
The Academy offers social and vocational rehabilitation by providing members with the opportunity to develop a daily routine, identify and pursue attainable goals, and lead productive lives. We focus on skill development, relationships, employment, and wellness.
The Academy Collaborates Closely with Clinical Partners
Melissa Larkin-Skinner, Centerstone CEO, joins our enrollment coordinator, Patty Haltinner, to discuss how Academy services work in tandem with clinical treatment. (6 minutes)
Eligibility: Applicants living with a mental health diagnosis are invited to apply for membership. Please note that traumatic brain injury, developmental disabilities or autism spectrum are not considered eligible diagnoses. There are other specialized services for these conditions in our region.
It is relevant to note that although the Academy has a vocational approach, applicants are not required or expected to have an employment goal at the time of enrollment.

- Encourage them to schedule a tour.
- Submit a referral form.
- Schedule a tour or Lunch & Learn to see our program firsthand.
