Build friendships

Opportunities for friendship abound. Members and staff get to know each other through the shared experience of working side by side at the Academy. This allows friendships to grow naturally. With time, members develop social support networks and close friends with whom they can share special moments and celebrations as well as life’s challenges. Our community truly enjoys being together!

On select evenings, the Academy is open beyond the traditional workday for a delicious meal and a fun activity - game nights, open mics, and salsa dancing are just a few of our popular activities. When the workday is over, we know how to have fun! On select Saturdays, members are invited to join an outing. We might visit a local park, museum, or festival. Our doors are open for celebrating all major holidays, including July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day, and a wonderful meal is often the star of the show. Our holiday celebrations are open to members and their friends or loved ones.
