Our Ambassadors

Ambassadors help us network and build community awareness about our mission

From our inception in 2017, a core group of 23 community leaders, family members, and colleagues united as our first “Ambassadors" to help make the Academy a reality. Since then, Ambassadors have continued to be an integral part of our success by helping us network and build awareness about our mission.

The Ambassador Role

Ambassadors are asked to make a one or two year commitment to promote the Academy’s mission and efforts. This may involve:

Inviting friends, colleagues, or family to tour and/or have lunch at the Academy
Inviting the Academy to present at civic, religious, or community groups
Connecting us to area businesses that may be interested in employing Academy members
Linking us to other community-based services that may benefit our members (housing, educational, clinical, etc.)
Inviting guests to our Ambassador Luncheon Fundraisers
Introducing us to potential funding sources (foundations, local government, donors, etc.)
