“Live from the Academy” Summer Telethon

Join us for "Live from the Academy"

These are exciting times at the Academy! In mid-August, we will be unveiling an entertaining, high-tech approach to a classic fundraising experience. Do you remember the Jerry Lewis Telethons of yesteryear? Members and staff of the Academy will be putting our skills to use to offer our First Annual Summer Telethon, aptly titled “Live from the Academy.” 

We are fortunate to count on the talents and charisma of Academy Ambassador, Stewie Bitterman, who will help host the Telethon. It will be available by public access over the Internet, and the only requirement is to have a computer and speakers. We will also be unveiling our newly equipped multimedia studio, a venue that will be used for future livestreams and podcasts.

Please join the fun on Wednesday, August 14, at 7 p.m. for “Live from the Academy.” It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the power of recovery.
