There are few things more intimidating than returning to work after a long absence. That’s why, as a characteristic of our transitional employment program, Academy staff takes on the charge of learning the positions and then training our members. In this way, members are being trained by a familiar face. Because our staff works side-by-side with members every day, they are well-equipped to understand individual challenges and find solutions to overcoming training and other employment barriers.
